To examine the real significant impacts of climate change the Handcrafted team travelled to the Philippines to cover the story of super typhoon Haiyan which devastated parts of the country in November 2013. It was recorded as the most powerful storm to make landfall in human history. One particular town, Tacloban City, situated on the island of Visayas was completely destroyed and an estimated 15,000 of its inhabitants were lost. This is the true impact of climate change.
